He and his wife, Queen Jezebel, worshipped false gods and led the people away from the true God. They encouraged the people to pray to Baal, a fake god who could not see, hear, or help them. But God had a prophet named Elijah who loved Him and wanted to bring the people back to the truth. One day, Elijah boldly challenged King Ahab and the prophets of Baal to a contest on Mount Carmel.
