  As a new school term begins, there’s no better time to remind our children about the power of  kindness . The story of  The Good Samaritan  (Luke 10:25-37) is one of the most beloved  Bible stories for children  because it teaches an important lesson: God wants us to love and help others, no matter who they are. In Jesus’ parable, a man was traveling when he was attacked by robbers and left hurt on the road. Two people - a priest and a Levite - saw him but walked away. Then came a Samaritan, someone the injured man might not have expected help from. Yet the Samaritan stopped, cared for his wounds, and made sure he was safe.
